Work the accounts list

Find, filter, and act on the accounts and leads you can reach — one row per account, with a query panel for precise filtering, inline editing, bulk actions, and a click-through to each account's card.

Opening Accounts from the sidebar shows a grid of every account visible to you. What you see is scoped by your reach — you only ever see accounts you are permitted to work on. Beside the grid sits the Query Builder, a panel where you compose exactly the question the page answers; see Saved queries, columns, and CSV import for how to build, save, and share queries.

Prerequisites

Read the table

Each row is one account. A fresh grid starts from a default set of columns — the account's ID, name, first and last name, phone, country, status, priority, origin, last contact, and brand — and you choose your own set in the Query Builder's column picker, including custom fields and columns from related records such as the account's brand or business unit.

  • The Name cell is a link that opens the account's card.
  • A checkbox on each row selects it for bulk actions; the header checkbox selects every visible row.
  • The Actions column stays pinned at the right edge while you scroll horizontally, so a wide report never hides the row's controls.
  • Values withheld by your firm's field-level security are not returned; when a query touches hidden fields, a notice names them.

Click a column header to sort. The count above the grid shows the total the server found; when more rows match than the page returns, the count is marked as a floor and a notice asks you to narrow the query to see the rest.

  • The search box above the grid narrows the loaded rows as you type.
  • Every filterable column has a header filter — text columns offer match modes such as contains, equals, and starts with; number and date columns offer comparisons and ranges.
  • Filters and sorting you set on the grid are merged into the query the next time it runs; the Query Builder shows them read-only in its From the grid section, so the panel always tells you the whole question being asked.
  • For anything the header filters cannot express — conditions over related records, AND/OR groups — build the filter in the Query Builder itself.

Edit values inline

Cells you are allowed to change can be edited directly in the grid. Edited cells accumulate into an unsaved-changes bar in the page header showing how many changes are pending; Save writes them all, and the result reports how many rows succeeded and how many were refused, with the reason per refusal. Which cells are editable is decided by your permissions and by the column itself — read-only and hidden columns cannot be edited. If the same account is edited to different values in more than one row, the save is blocked until the values agree.

Row actions

Each row carries a menu and a phone button:

  • Add note — record a note on the account.
  • Details — open the account's card (same destination as the Name link).
  • Login to CZ — open the client's own Client Zone session in a new tab. Shown only when your role grants the login-as permission.
  • Assign ownership — set the owner (a user) and/or the business unit. Each control defaults to Keep current, so only the values you change are updated; you can also clear either value.
  • Deactivate account — see below.
  • The phone button starts the call flow for the account's number.

While you are viewing as another user in read-only mode, the writing actions are disabled and a tooltip explains why.

The page header also carries New account, which opens a dialog to create an account manually. It is shown when your role lets you create accounts and you are in a firm workspace, and the account's brand is required at creation.

Act on many accounts at once

Tick the checkboxes of the rows you want. The search line is replaced by a bulk-actions strip showing N selected:

  • Assign agent — pick one user to become the owner of every selected account.
  • Change status — pick one status to apply to every selected account.

Both bulk actions report how many accounts succeeded and how many failed, so a problem with one account never blocks the rest.

Deactivate an account

Accounts are never deleted outright. Deactivate account in a row's menu hides the account from the account lists while preserving its data and audit history. Deactivating is available when your role includes the deactivation permission.
