Market-data charts

View candlestick charts of the platform's market data for any instrument, priced under a chosen trading term.

Prerequisites

View a chart

Open Charts in the sidebar, then use the toolbar:

  1. Pick a Trading term — the chart prices the instrument as accounts on that tier see it, including any markup.
  2. Pick an Instrument.
  3. Pick a Timeframe (defaults to one minute) and a SeriesBid, Ask, or Mid.
  4. Choose a range preset — 1H, 6H, 1D, 1W, or 1M — to set the visible window ending now. 1D is the default.

Candles are green when the close is at or above the open and red when below. Hover a candle for its timestamp, Open, High, Low, and Close, and the number of ticks in the bar.

The toolbar also offers:

  • A timezone toggle that switches the time axis between UTC and your local time — labels only; the data is unchanged.
  • A Refresh button that re-fetches the latest bars for the current window.

If no data exists in the selected range, the chart area says so; pick a wider range or a different instrument.

Note

Because the chart is term-priced, it is a convenient way to verify a markup or spread change: compare the same instrument across two trading terms, or against the firm-level values. Individual past markup changes can be suppressed from pricing in Markup history.
