Onboarding flow templates

Maintain the reusable templates that drive the firm onboarding wizard — the steps a firm goes through and an associated checklist of role bundles and license templates.

An onboarding flow template is a blueprint used when a firm is onboarded: it supplies the wizard's step sequence and records an associated selection of firm-role bundles and license templates. Templates are managed independently of any specific firm and reused across onboardings.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in to the Backoffice with a role that grants access to platform operations.

Read the template list

Open Onboarding flow templates from the sidebar. The grid lists every template with its ID, name, number of steps, how many firm roles and license templates it records, and a status badge — Active or Archived. Each row has an Edit action.

Create a template

  1. Click Add template.
  2. Enter a name (required) and an optional description.
  3. Set the status — Active templates are available for onboardings; Archived ones are retired.
  4. Under Firm roles, check the firm-role bundles you want the template to record as its associated checklist. The label shows a live count of your selections.
  5. Under License templates, check the license templates to record.
  6. Click the create button. The new template appears in the grid.

A newly created template starts with an empty step sequence — step editing is not yet available on this screen — so until steps exist it drives a review-only onboarding wizard. The role bundles and license templates you check here are recorded as the template's associated checklist rather than applied to the firm.

Edit a template

Click Edit on the template's row. The same dialog opens with the current values; adjust and save.

Note

A template's step sequence is shown as a count in the grid and is what the onboarding wizard follows, but steps are not edited on this screen — editing here preserves the template's existing steps unchanged.

Retire a template

Templates are never deleted from this screen. To retire one, edit it and set its status to Archived.
