The Activities feed¶
See everything that happened to the clients in your workspace — calls, emails, SMS messages, notes, status changes, Client Zone sign-ins, automation runs, and monetary events — in one firm-wide feed, newest first.
Open CRM > Activities in the sidebar. Unlike the per-account activity feed, which shows one account's history, this page spans every account you can see in the workspace.
The page has two views over the same activity. It opens on the Timeline — the feed described below. A docked Query Builder on the right lets you turn that activity into a filtered, columnar report; see Build a report with the Query Builder.
Prerequisites
- The page requires the communication capability.
- Monetary and automation entries additionally require your permissions to cover those areas; without them, those activity types simply do not appear in the feed or in the type filter.
What the feed shows¶
Each entry has a timestamp (When), its Type, a one-line Activity summary, a Status where the entry has one, the Account it belongs to, the Brand, and who it was By — an agent, the client, or the system.
The activity types:
- Call — logged calls, with their direction and notes.
- Email and SMS — messages sent to clients, with their delivery status.
- Note — notes added to accounts.
- Status change — an account's status moving from one value to another.
- Login — a client signing in to the Client Zone, with the sign-in method.
- Automation — workflow runs.
- Monetary — monetary transactions, with their type and amount.
Click an entry's account to open that account's page.
Filter the feed¶
The filter bar narrows the feed without leaving the page:
- Activity types — toggle any combination of the types above.
- Brand — one brand, or all brands you can see.
- Owner — one owner, or all.
- Time range — all time, or the last 24 hours, 72 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.
The feed loads a page at a time; click Load more at the bottom to continue into older activity.
Note
The feed respects your visibility and your firm's data-protection rules: you only see activity on accounts you can reach, and a note tells you when some fields in the feed are masked for your role.
Build a report with the Query Builder¶
The filter bar above answers "what happened lately". When you need to answer a sharper question — every outbound call to accounts in one country last month, or every status change with no follow-up note — use the Query Builder docked on the right of the page. It is the same builder the platform's other reporting pages use: you compose conditions, choose the columns, sort, and save the query to run again later.
Collapse or expand the panel with the control on its edge. Build your query, then click Run query. As soon as a query returns, the grid switches from the Timeline to the Query results view; click Back to timeline to return to the feed at any time. The two views keep their filters separate — the timeline's filter bar and the Query Builder are different ways of asking, so changing one never changes the other.
What you can query¶
The report covers your clients' calls, emails, SMS messages, notes, and account status changes and Client Zone sign-ins. Automation runs and monetary events appear in the timeline only — the report cannot query them.
Each activity offers these fields to filter and show:
- Channel — which kind of activity the row is (call, email, SMS, note, status change, or sign-in).
- Summary, Status, and Time — the same three columns the timeline shows.
- Event type, Previous status, New status, and Login method — extra detail that applies to status changes and sign-ins; these are empty for the other channels.
Add the Account related entity to filter on the account's own fields — its owner, brand, country, and so on — alongside the activity's.
A new report starts from four columns: Time, Channel, Summary, and Status. Use the Columns picker to add or remove columns and drag them into the order you want; your choice is saved with the query.
Conditions¶
In the Query section, click Add to build up the query:
- Condition — a single test: pick a field, an operator (for example equals, contains, at least), and a value.
- Group (AND/OR) — a set of conditions combined with AND or OR, so you can express "all of these" or "any of these".
- Related entity — bring in the account's fields, as above.
You can also refine the results directly on the grid — sorting a column or setting a column filter — and those are merged with the query when it runs.
Save a query to reuse¶
Once a query is worth keeping, save it and it appears in the Saved query picker the next time you open the page:
- Save query updates the query you have open; Save as new query keeps a separate copy.
- When you save, you choose an Owner — Me, your business unit, or the whole firm. The owner decides who else can see and use the query.
Who can build, run, and save
Building and running a query needs the same communication capability as the feed itself. Saving a query for others to reuse — and seeing queries your teammates have shared — needs the reporting permission in your permission group; without it, the saved-query list stays empty and the save controls are unavailable.
Visibility, masking, and large results¶
The report respects the same rules as the feed. You only see activity on accounts you can reach, and fields hidden by your firm's data-protection rules are left out of the results, with a note listing which ones. A report returns a large but bounded number of rows; when more match, a note tells you the results were trimmed, so narrow the query to see the rest. Each row links to the account the activity belongs to.
