The trading account detail page¶
Manage one trading account end to end: its trading configuration, funds, open and closed positions, pending orders, and balance actions.
Prerequisites
- You can reach the account — open a trading account from the trading accounts monitor, the open positions monitor, or the client's account card.
- Editing controls appear only with the matching permissions; without them the tabs are read-only.
The page is titled with the account's name and organized into tabs: Overview, Personal info, Funds, Positions, Pending orders, Closed positions, and Balance actions. All tabs share one live data feed, so figures tick in real time. Back to account returns to the client's account card.
Note
Crypto trading accounts show only the Overview and Personal info tabs; the remaining tabs apply to forex accounts.
Overview¶
The Trading configuration card shows the assigned trading term and the account's effective leverage as "1:n" (marked inherited when the account has no leverage override). To change them:
- Click Edit on the card.
- Pick a Trading term — each option shows the tier's name and default leverage.
- (Optional) Set a Leverage override; leave it blank to inherit the term's default.
- Click Save. Open positions are re-priced and margin is rebuilt; a confirmation reports how many instruments were recalculated.
The details card lists the account's identity, currency, owner, Account state, Tradability, live Margin status (OK, Margin call, or Stop out), and live equity and floating P&L. An account the client opened from the Client Zone also shows the Account type they picked (see Set up Client Zone account creation); accounts opened any other way carry none. With the right permission, Tradability is an inline dropdown — Normal, Close only, or Read only — with a Save button.
Personal info¶
Edits the owning client's details — name, phone, email, source, comment, and address — and saves them back to the account. Fields protected by field-level security are shown masked and cannot be edited here.
Funds¶
Live money figures for the account: Balance, Credit, Equity, Floating P&L, Used margin, Free margin, Margin level, and Locked margin. With the monetary permission, a Recalculate margin button recomputes the account's margin — useful after configuration changes.
Positions¶
All of the account's open positions, live: side, instrument, size, open rate, current price, stop loss, take profit, margin, floating P&L, swap, commission, net profit, leverage, open time, and status. Rows changed by an operator carry an edited badge; a position with a close in flight shows as locked and its actions are disabled.
Per-row actions:
- SL/TP — edit the stop loss and take profit; leave a field empty (or click Clear) to remove it. A help line explains which side of the price each level must sit on for buys versus sells.
- Close — close the position. Set the Close size (up to the full size — a smaller size is a partial close) and the Desired price, prefilled with the current market rate.
- Edit and Delete — full amendment (the same dialog as the open positions monitor) and deletion, with the amend permission. Deleting asks for confirmation.
Open trade opens a new position on the client's behalf — the same dialog as the trading accounts monitor, including the operator override toggles (ignore sessions, ignore delay, ignore tradability, set final price) for roles that hold the trade-override permission.
Pending orders¶
The account's pending orders: type (Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, Sell Stop), instrument, size, trigger price, stop loss, take profit, and expiry (or GTC for good-till-cancelled).
- Place pending order — choose the type, instrument, size, and Trigger price, optionally with stop loss, take profit, and an Expires at time (blank means good-till-cancelled).
- Edit — change the trigger price, size, stop loss, or take profit.
- Cancel — cancel the order.
Closed positions¶
The account's trade history: instrument, side, size, open and close rates, profit, swap, commission, whether it was a partial close, and open/close times. With the amend permission, each row offers:
- Reopen — deletes the closed row, recreates the open position, and moves the balance and margin accordingly. A warning appears if reopening would put the account into stop-out; override toggles are available to privileged roles.
- Edit — correct the recorded rates, amounts, times, or comment.
- Delete — remove the record, after confirmation.
Warning
Reopening, editing, or deleting closed positions rewrites the account's trading history and can change its balance. These are corrective tools; every change is attributed to you and badged as operator-edited.
Balance actions¶
The account's balance-action ledger: type (Deposit or Withdrawal), target pool (Balance or Credit), amount, balance before and after, subtype, source, comment, expiry, and creation time.
Create balance action opens the same dialog as the trading accounts monitor — target pool, type, amount in the account currency, subtype, an optional expiry for credit, and a comment. With the amend permission you can also Edit an existing action (including correcting a misdated creation time; the target pool is fixed) or Delete it.
