The Predictions overview¶
See the state of your firm's prediction catalog and policies on one screen, and jump into the work that needs doing.
The Overview is the first screen in the Predictions section and the one to start a shift on. It answers two questions: what is your firm currently selling, and is it configured to sell anything at all.
Prerequisites
- Predictions is enabled for your firm — see Turn on Predictions.
- Your permission group grants the Predictions View capability and reaches the firm's Predictions area.
- You have selected the firm workspace you want to look at. Until you do, the screen asks you to pick one.
Open the overview¶
In the left sidebar, open Predictions and choose Overview.
Listings at a glance¶
The Listings tile counts what your firm has listed, broken down by status:
- Published — on sale to traders.
- Suspended — paused; traders can see it but cannot buy.
- Closed — past its selling window.
- Retired — permanently withdrawn.
- Drafted — listed but not yet shown to traders.
- Awaiting review — provider markets you have not decided on yet. This is the size of your catalog inbox.
Both counts come from a bounded scan. If your firm has more history than the scan reads, the screen says so and the numbers are a floor rather than a total.
Active policies¶
The Active policies tile shows whether each of the three policy families — Pricing, Commission, and Risk — has an active policy, as Configured or Not configured.
Warning
Treat three Configured badges as the minimum bar before you publish anything. Without an active risk policy your firm has no ceilings in force, and without an active pricing policy markets fall back to a platform default rather than to your commercial terms.

When new selling is blocked¶
If new selling is blocked for your firm, a banner sits above the content on this and every Predictions screen. It names every block in force — what set each one, the scope it covers, and the reason recorded with it — so lifting one and staying closed is never a surprise. While a block is up, publishing and resuming are refused rather than queued.
A block never lifts by itself, and it never affects contracts a trader already holds — those still settle as they are, and traders can still move money out of their prediction wallets. Your own team holds and releases new selling from Provider health; see Holds and blocked selling.
