Manage your listings

See everything your firm has listed, in every state, and pause, resume, retire, or re-review any of it.

A listing is your firm's decision to sell one prediction market. The Listings screen is where that decision is reviewed and changed after publication.

Prerequisites

  • Your permission group grants the Predictions View capability to open the screen, and the Catalog capability to change a listing. With view only, the actions menu tells you that you do not hold the catalog capability for this firm.
  • Listing changes are refused while you are acting as another user.

Open the listings

In the left sidebar, open Predictions and choose Listings.

Filter by Status, Topic, or a Search over the question, market id, or event, set Rows, and click Run. As in the inbox, the screen reads a bounded page and tells you when there is more than it fetched.

Each row shows the Question, Topic, Status, House cutoff, Provider close, and whether the market is Featured.

What each status means

Status What it means
Hidden Listed but not shown to traders.
Published On sale until the house cutoff.
Suspended Paused. Traders still see it; no new buying.
Closed The selling window has ended.
Retired Permanently withdrawn. This is terminal.

Act on a listing

Open the row's Actions menu:

  • Pause — stop accepting new buying until you resume.
  • Resume — accept new buying again, still subject to the cutoff and your policies.
  • Retire — withdraw the listing permanently. It can never be published again; to sell that market later you would list it afresh.
  • Accept revision — confirm you have read the source's revised rules. See below.
  • Edit featured copy — write the headline and context traders see. See Market details and featured copy.
  • Open — open the market's full detail page.

Each action asks for confirmation and states its consequence before it runs.

A listing closes itself

Closed is not something you do. A published listing moves there on its own once its house cutoff passes, which is what makes the cutoff the real end of your selling window.

Pausing and retiring never touch what a trader already holds

Contracts a trader has already bought are unaffected by any of these actions. They still settle exactly as they are. What changes is only whether new buying is accepted.

When the source changes the rules

The source can revise a market after you published it. When the change matters to a trader, the row carries a Rules changed — review badge: the listing is no longer selling what your team reviewed.

To resolve it:

  1. Open the market and read the new revision side by side with the one you published against — see Market details and featured copy.
  2. Choose Accept revision to re-pin the listing to the revision you just read.

If the source revised the market again while you were reading, the platform refuses your acceptance and asks you to look once more, rather than silently accepting something you have not seen.

When new selling is blocked

If new selling is blocked for your firm, a banner naming every standing block sits above the list, and publishing and resuming are refused while it is up. Pausing and retiring still work — a block never stops you from selling less. See Holds and blocked selling.
