Settlements¶
Review the prediction positions that have reached a final result, and what actually reached each customer's wallet.
A prediction position ends when the market's result is known. Settlements lists those finished positions, with the money that moved as a result.
Prerequisites
- Your permission group grants the Predictions View capability.
- You only ever see rows for the accounts your permissions let you reach.
Open the screen¶
In the left sidebar, open Predictions and choose Settlements.
Set From and To, optionally filter by Market, Account, and the terminal states you care about, then click Run. The window opens on the last 30 days and one read covers at most 92 days; a wider window is refused with a note asking you to narrow it. Use Load more to walk further back.
What each result means¶
| State | What happened |
|---|---|
| Won | The customer's side was the right one. Each contract paid out and the payout was credited to their prediction wallet. |
| Lost | The other side won. Nothing is credited; the customer's loss is what they paid. |
| Voided | The market was cancelled rather than resolved. What the customer paid comes back, and the opening commission is refunded in full. |
| Correction review | The source's result changed or is disputed, and the position is being re-examined. Money is still at stake until it leaves this state. |
The columns¶
Alongside the position's own details — account, market, question, side, contracts, cost basis, and maximum payout — each row carries:
- Settled — when the result was applied.
- Opening commission — the fee charged when the position was opened, kept beside the outcome so the whole economics of the position are on one row.
- Result version — which version of the source's result the settlement was made against. It moves when a result is corrected.
- Customer credit — the amount that actually reached the customer's prediction wallet. A row still being processed shows Pending rather than a number nobody has posted yet.
Settlement is automatic
Positions settle from the source's result without anyone pressing anything. This screen is the record of what happened, not a queue to work — and no figure on it is entered by hand.
What traders see¶
Each settled position appears in the trader's own settlement history, marked Won, Lost, or Refunded, with the wallet credit. Traders are also notified when a prediction settles. See What your traders see.
