Market details and featured copy

Read everything the source states about one market, compare a revised set of rules against the one you published, and write the copy your traders read.

Open a market from the catalog inbox or from Listings. The page shows the market's listing status, its version, and the revision your listing is pinned to, over four tabs.

Prerequisites

  • Your permission group grants the Predictions View capability. Saving featured copy additionally needs the Catalog capability.
  • Changes are refused while you are acting as another user.

Rules — what the source is selling

The Rules tab is the market's factual record, shown verbatim: the question and subtitle, the event it belongs to, the topic, the source and the market's id at the source, the state, the close and expiration times, the payout per contract, the result and how final it is, the revision and its rules fingerprint, the rules and any additional rules, the Resolution source, and each outcome with its label and payout. A Why this cannot be sold list names anything standing in the way.

Warning

Your own copy may decorate these facts. It can never replace or contradict them — traders always see the source's question, rules, and resolution source alongside whatever you write.

Note

A market with no Resolution source cannot be published at all. See Review and publish a market.

Revision — what changed

The Revision tab puts the revision pinned at publication next to the current one from the source, field by field: the question, the rules, the additional rules, the resolution source, the close time, the revision number, and the rules fingerprint. It also states when the change was detected and whether it is material — that is, whether it changes something a trader would care about.

When there is a material change, use Accept revision here or from the Listings actions menu. Accepting records that you have read this revision; it is not a rubber stamp, and if the source moved again while you were reading, the platform refuses and asks you to look once more.

The Featured copy tab is where your team writes the market's presentation for the trader Dashboard:

  1. Write a Headline — a short line for the featured card.
  2. Write the Context — what a trader should know before taking a side. A counter shows how much of the allowed length you have used.
  3. Set the Featured position — a whole number, lower sorting earlier. Leave it empty to take the market off the featured area entirely.
  4. Click Save featured copy.

Note

Saving sends the whole block. A field you leave empty is cleared, not left as it was — so edit the copy you want to keep rather than only the field you want to change.

Headline and context appear on the market's featured card on the trader Dashboard and on the market's own page. See What your traders see.

Audit

The Audit tab links to the Predictions audit trail, which records every catalog action on a market and the operator who took it.
