Closed positions report¶
Review every closed position across the accounts you can see within a time range, query and shape the result with the Query Builder, and reopen closed lots in bulk.
Prerequisites
- You are signed in to the Backoffice and have selected a workspace.
- Opening the page requires the closed-positions reporting permission in your permission group.
Open Trading → Closed Positions in the sidebar.
The time range is mandatory¶
This report is always bounded by a close-time range. The bar above the grid holds the start time and end time — prefilled to the last seven days so the page opens with data — and Run re-asks the server. The run is blocked, with a message, while the range is missing or the start is after the end.
Read the table¶
Each row is one closed lot. A fresh grid starts from the position's ID, instrument, side, size, contract size, open and close rate, open and close time, profit, swap, commission, and close reason — plus the owning Account (a link to its card) and the TP Account the lot was closed on. Close reason reads Manual, Take profit, Stop loss, Stop out, or Partner; historical rows recorded before reasons were kept show a dash.
The position's ID cell links to the trading account's own Closed positions tab on the trading account detail page, scrolled to and highlighting that row.
Use the quick search box to narrow the loaded rows, the column headers to sort and filter, and the Query Builder docked beside the grid to build precise conditions — over the position's own fields, its instrument, or its owning account — choose columns, and save queries. The panel works exactly as it does on the accounts list; see Saved queries, columns, and CSV import.
Closed-position values themselves are not editable from this report — amending a realized lot re-books money and lives on the trading account detail page. Columns joined from the owning account can be edited inline where your permissions allow.
Reopen closed positions in bulk¶
With the trade-amendment permission, each row carries a checkbox. Select the lots to restore — the toolbar shows how many are selected — and click Reopen.
- Each selected lot is reopened individually, so one failure never blocks the rest; the result reports per-row success and failure.
- Selected rows with no trading account recorded are skipped, and the confirmation says how many.
- With the trade-override permission you can additionally choose to ignore trading sessions, placing the reopening trade even while the instrument's market is closed.
A reopened lot becomes an open position again and leaves this report on the next run.
Warning
Reopening rewrites the account's trading history and balance effects, in the same way as reopening from the trading account detail page. Use it for corrections, not as a trading tool.
