The monetary transactions page¶
Review every deposit, withdrawal, credit, and debit recorded across your firm's accounts in one cross-account grid, filter it precisely with the Query Builder, and open any transaction's detail page.
Prerequisites
- You are signed in to the Backoffice and have selected a workspace — the page shows the transactions of the accounts in the workspace you are viewing.
- Opening the page requires the monetary-transactions reporting permission in your permission group. Recording, approving, and rejecting transactions each require their own permission — an action you lack is either hidden or refused with a message telling you so.
The transactions grid¶
Open Monetary Transactions in the sidebar. Every monetary transaction across the workspace's accounts appears as one row.
A fresh grid starts from a default set of columns — the transaction's ID, creation time, type, method, currency, amount, and its first-time-deposit flag — plus the owning Account (a link to the account card), a derived Status badge, and a pinned View action. You choose your own columns, including columns of the owning account and the linked deposit order, in the Query Builder docked beside the grid — the same panel the accounts list uses; see Saved queries, columns, and CSV import.
The first-time-deposit column shows an FTD badge on the customer's first approved deposit, so you can spot and filter first-time deposits; every other row shows a dash.
Use the quick search box above the grid to narrow the loaded rows, and the column headers to sort and filter; grid filters and sorting are merged into the query the next time it runs. Cells you are allowed to change can be edited inline and saved from the unsaved-changes bar in the page header.
How status is derived¶
Each row shows one of five statuses, decided in this order:
- Cancelled — the transaction was withdrawn, by the customer or by an operator reversal. Terminal.
- Rejected — an operator declined the transaction. Terminal.
- Settled — the money has actually moved (the transaction has been processed).
- Approved — an operator approved the transaction, but it has not settled yet.
- Pending — awaiting an approval decision.
Only a Pending transaction can be approved or rejected — see Approve or reject a transaction.
When results are truncated¶
The page returns a large but bounded number of rows. When more transactions match than the query returns, the result count is marked as a floor and a notice asks you to narrow the query — tighten the conditions in the Query Builder to see the transactions you need.
Open a transaction's detail page¶
Click a row's View button to open the transaction's own page.
The page shows a summary — account, amount, status, type, first-deposit badge, creation time, the trading account the money moved on, and the operator comment — alongside a journey timeline of the transaction's lifecycle. Fields you are allowed to change can be edited and saved from the page header. Any custom fields defined for transactions appear in their own section.
From this page you approve or reject a pending transaction, and cancel one that was already approved or settled — see Approve or reject a transaction.
Transactions started by the customer¶
Some deposits and withdrawals are started by the customer in the Client Zone through your payment provider, rather than being recorded by an operator. These arrive in the grid like any other transaction and are approved or rejected the same way.
For these, the detail page shows read-only payment information — the payment provider it came through, the provider's transaction reference, card or crypto details where the provider sent them — and the linked deposit order with its own status, amount, and provider. These fields are informational; the money decision is still the normal approve/reject.
Note
Operators do not start payment-provider deposits or withdrawals from the Backoffice. The customer starts them in the Client Zone, and operators review and approve or reject them here.
Record a new transaction¶
The New transaction button in the page header opens a standalone form for recording a Deposit, Withdrawal, Credit, or Debit against any account in the firm — see Record a transaction.
While you are viewing as another user, the New transaction button is disabled, and a tooltip explains why. Money movements are always attributed to the real operator, so they cannot be made while impersonating.
