Your exposure¶
See what your firm currently stands to pay, scope by scope, against the ceilings you set and the capital behind them.
The risk policy is where you decide your limits and the reserve is the capital behind them. This screen is where you see how much of both you are using. It is read-only — nothing here changes a limit — and it refreshes itself every few seconds, with the time of the reading shown at the top.
Prerequisites
- Your permission group grants the Predictions View capability.
- Predictions is enabled for your firm. If it is not, the screen still opens and tells you so in the page itself rather than failing to load.
Open the screen¶
In the left sidebar, open Predictions and choose Exposure.
Capital¶
The top of the page states the capital position: Allocated, Utilized, Available, and the Required reserve your open book demands right now. A firm that has not funded a reserve yet is told so plainly.
The risk book¶
Below it, one row per scope your firm is exposed on — Firm, Provider, Topic, Event, Market, Customer, and Customer / market — so you can see the same exposure rolled up the way your ceilings are written.
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Positions | How many open positions sit in this scope. |
| Contracts | How many contracts they cover. |
| Max payout | The most your firm could have to pay in this scope. |
| Premiums | What your firm took in for them. |
| Worst loss | The payout net of those premiums — your true worst case. |
| Reserve | The capital this scope requires. |
| Limit | The ceiling in force for it, from your risk policy. |
| Utilization | How much of that ceiling is used. |
Two flags call out the rows that need attention: Over limit, and No capacity for a scope whose ceiling is zero.
A missing ceiling is never drawn as zero
Where no ceiling exists, the cell shows a dash rather than a 0 — because
zero means no capacity at all, not unlimited. If your firm has no active
risk policy the page says so, and every limit is blank because there is
nothing in force to compare against.
An empty book¶
Until your firm has sold its first contract, the book is legitimately empty and the page says the risk book is flat. That is not an error and not a failed load.
When there are more scopes than one reading returns, the page says so and the totals above cover only the rows shown.
