Manage brands

See the brands your firm runs and add a new one.

Each brand is a customer-facing storefront with its own name, web address, and look. This page is the starting point for brand setup: it lists your firm's brands and lets you create another.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in to the Backoffice with a role that grants permission to manage brands.
  • You have selected the workspace of the firm whose brands you want to manage.

The brands list

Open Brands in the sidebar. Every brand in the selected firm appears as one row in the grid.

Columns include:

  • ID — the brand's identifier; the link opens the brand editor.
  • Name — the brand's display name.
  • DNS — the web address (host name) the brand's WebTrader and Client Zone are served on, such as trade.example.com.
  • Status — a badge showing whether the brand is Active, Disabled, or Archived.

Click any row to open the brand editor, where you configure the brand in full.

Add a brand

  1. Click Add brand in the page header.
  1. In the Name field, enter the brand's display name.
  2. In the DNS field, enter the web address the brand will be served on — a host name such as trade.example.com.
  3. Under Default language, choose the brand's starting language from the catalog of supported languages.
  4. Under Status, choose Active, Disabled, or Archived.
  5. Click Create.

The new brand is created with the default language you chose as its only supported language; you can broaden the set of supported languages later in the brand editor.

Warning

Each brand's web address must be unique across the whole platform. If the host you enter is already used by another brand, the create fails with a conflict message — choose a different address.
