Monitor open positions

See every open position across the workspace's trading accounts in one live grid, amend a position when needed, and jump to the account that owns it.

Prerequisites

  • You have selected a workspace — the page lists positions for the workspace you are viewing.
  • The per-row Edit button appears only when your role includes the position-amend permission.

The open positions grid

Open Open Positions in the sidebar. Each open position in the workspace is one row. While the data streams in, a progress bar shows loading progress; the grid appears after the first live sync.

Columns include:

  • Account — the owning client's name, linking to their account card.
  • Trading Account and its ID, linking to the trading account detail page.
  • Position ID and Instrument — the instrument name links to its catalog entry.
  • Side — a Buy or Sell badge.
  • Volume, Open Price, Stop Loss, Take Profit, Currency, and Open Time.
  • Profit — the live floating profit, green when positive and red when negative.
  • Swap and Commission — amounts accrued on the position.
  • Total Profit — floating profit plus swap and commission.

The grid is fully live: positions appear as they open, disappear as they close, and profit figures tick in place without a refresh. A pinned Total row sums profit, swap, commission, and total profit. Use the search box to filter and the Display Currency selector to convert money columns into one currency at the mid rate (cells are blank where no direct pair exists).

The same utility panel as the trading accounts monitor docks on the right, with live Market Rates and Margin Call alerts.

Amend a position

  1. Click Edit on the position's row.
  2. Adjust the fields you need. The dialog exposes the full position: Instrument, Side, Size, Open price, Leverage, Stop loss, Take profit, Swap, Commission, Open time, and a Comment.
  3. Click Save. Margin is recomputed for the new values; the account balance is not changed, and the position is flagged as operator-modified in the audit history.

Note

Changing the Instrument re-resolves the currency conversion for the position. If the market is closed and no live rate is available for the new instrument, use the Conversion rate override field that appears; leave it empty to resolve the rate automatically.

Warning

Amending a position rewrites its recorded trade details. Prefer changing only Stop loss and Take profit unless you are deliberately correcting an erroneous trade, and record the reason in the Comment field.
