Set up Client Zone account creation

Decide what a trader sees when they open an additional trading account from the Client Zone: the named account types they can choose from, the order and headline conditions of each, and the shape of the create-account form itself — all per brand.

These controls live on the Account creation sub-tab of the brand editor's Client Zone tab. Unlike the rest of the editor, this tab has its own Save button at the bottom of the screen; the header's Save does not apply your changes here.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in to the Backoffice with a role that grants permission to manage brands.
  • You have opened a brand from the brands list and selected Client Zone → Account creation. The sub-tab is shown only for brands whose product includes the Client Zone.
  • Self-service account creation is turned on for the brand. If your traders do not see a New trading account action, ask your provider to enable it.

How account types work

An account type is one option in the Type dropdown of the Client Zone's Create a New Account dialog. Each type has a name of your choosing, a position in the list, and up to five short details shown under the name — and it opens the new account on either a trading terms tier or an MT5 group. When a trader picks a type, the account opens on that tier or group, and the type they picked is recorded on the account.

The list is per brand: two brands of the same firm can offer different types, under different names, in different orders — even when they point at the same tiers.

Add an account type

  1. Click Add account type. A new entry appears in the list on the left and opens for editing on the right. New entries start hidden from traders — the list marks them Hidden until you turn them on in step 4.
  2. Enter a Name — the label traders see in the Type dropdown, for example Gold. It does not have to match the tier's name.
  3. Under Opens an account on, choose the target:

    • Trading terms tier — pick a tier from the firm's trading terms. Only a tier whose status is Active and that is pinned to a trading system can be picked; other tiers are greyed out, and hovering shows why. Each option carries an Internal or MT5 badge for the platform it opens accounts on.
    • MT5 group — pick a group of the workspace's MetaTrader 5 connection. The list is empty if the workspace has no MT5 groups. An account opened on a group takes the group's currency.

The trading platform of the type follows from the target — you never set it separately. 4. Turn on Offered. A type that is not offered is kept in your list but is never shown to traders. 5. Set the order. Drag entries in the list on the left, or use the up and down arrows that appear on hover; the order there is the order traders see, and Position shows each entry's resulting number (traders see types in ascending position order). 6. Under Details shown under the name, fill in the details you want in the type's line — Min deposit, Spread, Leverage, Swap, and Commission — as the text traders should read (for example $1,000, 0.0, 1:500, Swap-free, $3.5/lot). - Leave Leverage empty and the line shows the leverage of the tier the type opens on; leave Swap empty and the line shows Swap-free when that tier is swap-free (and nothing otherwise). Anything you type replaces the derived value. For a trading terms tier target, the field's placeholder previews the derived value. - Min deposit, Spread, and Commission have nothing to derive from and appear only when you enter a value. 7. Repeat for every type you want to offer, then click Save. While you have unsaved edits, the save bar says Unsaved changes.

Warning

The five details are text shown to traders — they do not change the tier's actual conditions, and Min deposit does not restrict opening the account or require a deposit. Keep them consistent with the tier's settings and instrument policies; a trader who picks 1:500 expects the account to open with that leverage.

A few things to know about the list:

  • An entry with no name or no target is marked Incomplete and cannot be saved until you complete it. If a saved entry's tier is later deactivated or unpinned from its trading system, the entry shows a warning and you must point it at another tier before the tab can be saved again.
  • A type is shown to traders only when the platform it opens accounts on is among the Platforms the brand offers (see below). Entries outside that set are listed under Check these at the top of the tab and are simply not shown — a convenient way to prepare a type before you switch its platform on.
  • If a save is rejected, The changes were not saved lists every problem with the field it belongs to, and your edits are kept so you can fix them.
  • To remove a type, open it and click Remove account type, then confirm. The option disappears from the Client Zone when you save; accounts already opened on it are not affected.

Configure the create-account form

Below the account types, the Create-account form section holds six settings that shape the rest of the dialog. Each one starts as Inherit from the firm — the tab shows the inherited value under the checkbox — and you can clear that box to give this brand its own choice. Ticking it again discards the brand's choice on the next save and the firm's setting applies again.

  • Account types — whether traders may open Live accounts, Demo accounts, or both.
  • Platforms — the platforms this brand offers: Internal (the built-in trading engine), MT5, or both. An account type whose platform is not in this set is not shown.
  • Form fields — the optional fields the dialog asks for: Currency and Account Name (the optional per-account label shown to traders).
  • Currencies — the currencies a new account can be opened in, in the order shown; type each currency code as a chip.
  • Leverage values — the leverage options offered (digits only, for example 100 for 1:100), in the order shown. When no values are configured at all, the dialog shows no leverage choice and the account takes its tier's leverage.
  • Detail order — which of the five details appear under each account type and in what order, as chips: min_deposit, spread, leverage, swap, commission. A detail left out here is not shown even when a type has a value for it.

For Currencies, Leverage values, and Detail order, an empty list behaves like Inherit from the firm.

What traders see

A signed-in trader opens the account switcher (on mobile, the Account page) and chooses New trading account. The Create a New Account dialog opens.

From top to bottom, the dialog shows:

  • Live or Demo — when the brand offers both kinds; otherwise the one kind on offer is shown as a badge.
  • Trading platform — only when the brand offers more than one platform. The built-in trading engine appears as Sirix, and MetaTrader 5 as MT5.
  • Currency — the currencies the brand offers. When the field is hidden, the new account inherits the currency of the trader's currently active account of the same kind (live or demo), or the brand's first offered currency.
  • Type — the account types you offer, in your order. Each option shows the type's name and, under it, its details line — for example Min. $1,000 · Spread 0.0 · Lev 1:500 · Swap-free · $3.5/lot — with the details in the brand's Detail order. When a platform choice is shown, the list holds only the types that open on the selected platform. When at least one type is offered on that platform, choosing one is required; when none is, the field is not shown and the account opens on the tier your firm's routing selects.
  • Leverage — only when the brand offers a choice of leverage values.
  • Account Name — an optional label of up to 30 letters, numbers, spaces, and hyphens, shown only when the brand includes it in Form fields.

Traders can self-create up to four live and four demo trading accounts. Once every kind on offer has reached its limit, New trading account is disabled.

After Create, a confirmation shows the new account's name and ID, a Live or Demo badge, and a summary: Platform (only when the trader had a platform choice), Currency, Type (the account type picked), and Leverage (when one was chosen). A live account also offers Deposit and, where the trader can move money between their own accounts, Transfer.

Where the chosen type shows in the Backoffice

The type a trader picked is kept on the trading account as it was at the time — renaming or removing the type later does not change what the account records.

  • The trading account detail page shows it as Account type in the details card. Accounts opened any other way — sign-up, the Backoffice, or an integration — carry no account type and show nothing there.
  • The trading accounts grid has an Account type column, hidden by default; add it from the grid's column panel.
  • Wherever the Query Builder lets you reach a trading account's fields, its Account type is available as a condition and as a column — see Saved queries, columns, and CSV import.
