Home and navigation¶
Get your bearings in the Backoffice: the landing screen, the sidebar, and the command palette for jumping anywhere quickly.
The landing screen¶
After you sign in, you arrive on an overview screen that greets you by name and gives you a starting point for your work.
Note
The cards on this screen are an orientation panel, not a live report. Use them to get oriented, then open the section you need from the sidebar. The numbered figures you deal with day to day live on the account, transaction, and trading-account screens.
The sidebar¶
The left sidebar is how you move between sections. Items are gathered into groups you can expand and collapse.
- Click a group heading to expand or collapse it and reveal the items inside.
- Click an item to open it. If an item has sub-items, click it to expand it, then choose the sub-item you want.
- To keep a section within reach, hover over it and click the star to pin it. Pinned items gather in a Pinned group at the top of the sidebar. Click the star again to unpin.
The sidebar remembers which items you pinned and which groups you left open, so it looks the same the next time you sign in.
At the very top of the sidebar is the workspace switcher, and at the bottom is your user menu.
The command palette¶
The command palette lets you jump to any screen without hunting through the sidebar.
- Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) to open the palette.
- Start typing the name of the screen you want. The list narrows as you type.
- Use the arrow keys to highlight a result and press Enter, or click it, to go there.
You can also switch workspace from the palette: type Switch workspace and select the action to open the workspace switcher.
