Override WebTrader text per brand

Replace the wording of individual WebTrader interface strings for one brand and one language, without changing the platform's base text for everyone else.

Each override sits on top of the platform's built-in text. Anywhere you do not set an override, the brand keeps the standard wording, so nothing is ever left untranslated.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in to the Backoffice with a role that grants permission to manage translations.
  • You have selected the workspace of the firm whose brand you want to edit.

Find a brand and language

  1. In the left sidebar, open Translations.
  2. The list shows one row per brand and language, with a status that tells you how many strings that pair currently overrides — or that it has none yet.
  1. Select a row to open its editor.

Edit the overrides

The editor lists every WebTrader interface string. For each one you see:

  • the key that identifies the string,
  • the default text the platform ships, and
  • an override box.

Type your wording into the override box for any string you want to change. Leave a box empty to keep the default text — clearing a box removes the override and returns that string to the standard wording.

Use the search box to filter the list by key or by default text, so you can jump straight to the strings you want to change.

When you are done, click Save. Your overrides take effect for that brand's WebTrader in the selected language.

Note

Overrides are specific to one brand and one language. To change the same string for another language or another brand, open that row and edit it separately.
